tuan yuan fan!
for some reason unknown to even myself, i had an extremely restless night. trying to sleep earlier because of worship duty didnt help at all, and i ended up waking up at least 3 times before i was supposed to. in the end i probably had like 3 hr-long naps, which was totally insufficient for me to play the way i would have liked to play for worship.
but as colin said, it’s the last time that i’m gonna be on duty before i enlist, so i have to give it my all today. sure, we should always give our everything whenever we play for God, as a service towards Him. but more often than not, we treat it like a duty and sometimes we end up playing just for the sake of making music. thank God though, for this was the first time in a while that i’ve felt so free of burdens, free of troubles, and just free to worship Him with everything i have.
so worship today meant a lot to me, and so did all the well wishes from various individuals. a special thank you to those who actually made the effort to make me feel appreciated today (: it’s always nice to feel like you’re an important part of a body, a part of a family. and it’s a reminder for me as well, just to focus on the positives in life instead of harping on the little insignificant problems that try to draw our attention away from what really matters to us.
so thanks guys. euodia, tiffany, jonathan, marcus, penny, uncle lawrence, daniel, thomas, colin, mossy, shawn, zhiyuan, alicia, amanda, ian, rachel… for wishing me the best in one way or another. (i’m sorry if i missed anyone out. just complain to me and i’ll add your name in, promise!)
