my room’s so clean, it’s unreal.
worship prac and clearing my sec 1-year 6 stuff from my room has left me exhausted. mighty to save is still pretty damn difficult, and the transition between the different grooves was wad killed me during practice. plus the amount of paper i’ve removed from my bookshelves is as tall as i am when it’s all stacked up, so think abt the number of trees the IB cohort kills every year.
but anyway, it’s been great chatting to the guys last night. arjun and i chatted all the way until 2, and what amazed me was how primal ppl can become just when they’re in the army. hearing the antics of some of the ppl from our batch cracked me up so much i was really laughing in front of the computer screen, esp with stories of how certain ppl brought in 18 pairs of underwear and whatnot.
perhaps being in army isnt that bad after all, but i’m still gonna miss the part of my life that i’ll leave behind when i take the ferry over to tekong. who knows, some ppl might actually miss that stupid boy whose company they never really appreciated when he’s gone. as the song goes…
don’t it always seem to go
that you don’t know what you’ve got till it’s gone
they paved paradise
and put up a parkin’ lot.
