go be a teacher!

after an extremely tiring day of rushing to school, then going to dawn’s place, before rushing back home for electone lesson… i’m finally back here at the computer screen where i belong!

the school visit, even though it was really short, was very satisfying. i got to talk to paul cheong, who advised me about army stuff and tried to psycho me into teaching as a profession. then by some strange coincidence, kaung myat was in school to send in his IB transcripts to the US colleges as well, so we had a little chat in the sac. wilson arrived, and after he had his lunch while i read his constantine comic, we went to visit our dear pink fluffy bunny MUNCHING in the chem lab. seeing her stress out over her chem ee just reminded me of how mad the whole level was when we were trying to rush out our own essays last year… bad memories i say.

well the attempt to play frisbee in school today was epic fail. since training started at 5 and i was supposed to reach bishan at 5 for the cell leaders’ meeting, i didnt really get the chance to play at all. all i could do was toss the disc with jonny and wilson for a bit, advise the current year 6s abt ib, laugh at the way at which i got my A in my ee, before rushing off to catch the bus and train to get to dawn’s place.

cell leader’s meeting however, was much much better than i expected. being able to talk and laugh and share and learn with penny, dawn, shawn and may was just awesome. it’s a pity mossy and jomel couldnt make it, but it was a really good time for the leaders to bond and just be aware of what being in a position of leadership entails.

so after that, may sent me home cos i had to rush back for my electone lesson. but since the drive was so long, may and shawn had to come in to relieve themselves before continuing. it was then that may realised that since they were already in my house, and i was gonna have my lesson anyway, that i should play them a song on my electone! -.- genius. but before i was halfway through rock’n roll baby, sebastian was already here so no more performance!

super long day, but very fulfilling. tmr’s still free though, any takers? (:
