the inefficiency of uyos.

after waiting for more than 2 years, my sword-of-honour has finally arrived. the best part was, it was supposed to arrive in school at 3, but the delivery man onli came at 4. talk about making the wait more painful than it already is, huh? and because of that silly 1 hr delay, i couldnt make it for the bum outing today, bah. at least i had tedkin, eliel and jonathan zhang to keep me company and make the wait a little more painless.

so now, i guess my ncc life has officially come to a halt. this was the last piece of the puzzle for me, the pinnacle of my ncc life if you will. there were many other good times, like when i was first appointed to be csm, snatching the best unit award back from st gabs, and when i saw the 54th finally pass out as cadet officers. but i consider this to be my first real award in life, and a confirmation of my efforts and my contributions toward the success of acsi ncc air.

but i really didnt do this all alone. arjun played a major part in helping me look much much better, doing much of the background work that i didnt wanna do or couldnt do alone, and he was the guy that stuck through everything with me. (except clt course, you idiot boy) then there was jwong, who was the best CO one could ask for. ncc air wouldnt be where it is today without him either. and terence ng, the most underrated teacher officer ever. i can safely say that it is onli with terence ng’s contributions that acsi ncc is considered to be one of the best in singapore. he is one of the few teachers that i will say is fully capable of leading the unit, but for certain reasons he never got the chance to.

so thanks everyone, for making ncc more special than i thought it would be. perhaps these experiences will serve me well in the army, but i’m sure that i’ll rmbr all the good times for life (:
