the camp has finally ended, and it was a very bittersweet conclusion to a wonderful camp.
the last four days have been nothing short of amazing. even though there were a very large number of campers this year, and so many newcomers for a change, which posed a challenge for the organizing committee, we still managed to pull it off by God’s grace. not everything went as planned, and we didnt even keep to the timetable for the most part. but i thank God for giving me a very flexible team, and for the ability to adjust the camp schedule accordingly just so that things run smoothly.
to cut the long story short, we came to the camp as many individuals, but we came out of this as a body. the camp was run not according to our plans, but His. and as the new year approaches, the CCK youth will never be the same again. perhaps it’s also partially due to sarah, sam and salina leaving us, but i believe that God has a purpose in all that He does, and this is no exception to that.
it’s been absolutely rewarding to be able to work with the 3 of you so closely one last time, and i’m honoured to be able to call you my friends. i’m not gonna be much of a "son" or "boss" or "stupidcow" anymore, but i wouldnt mind reliving the whole thing one more time with you (: thank you for the 3 years of friendship you’ve given me.

a chapter of life has been written, and will be closed soon. but another will begin as soon as the previous one has been completed. i wish to move on, and i hope the coming year allows me to do that. i’m not gonna continue in my search anymore, but i’ll do my best to accept what God has in plan for me. who knows, maybe that person will find me instead? when i said i wasnt gonna make the first move, it doesnt mean that i wont reciprocate.
not my will but Yours be done, dear Lord.
