happy teachers’ day!

well it’s teacher’s day today, but there’s nothing much to celebrate about. a day of studying and intensive revision degenerated into a day of apologies going back and forth, and the clearing up of misunderstandings. to be honest i do know that there’s really no need for me to do such a thing, but i hate leaving things in a cloud of misunderstandings and in a big mess. it’s a kind of ocd i have i guess. but of course, there are always exceptions to be made, and there’s really no need for me to explain things to certain ppl whose minds are closed off to any alternative viewpoints except their own.
parents just left the country today, and now i’m the one calling the shots at home. it’s not easy when you have a helpless domestic worker, an easily irritated grandma, a lazy younger sister and your exams to look after all at the same time. guess i’ll have to get used to this, it’s gonna be a few more days before they get back and things return to normal. so far they’ve all been obedient, so i’m quite thankful for that (:
sigh. things can onli get better from here i hope.
