green dot fiesta~
st margs pri sch was a total madhouse today. the crowd that gathered was so large i had trouble breathing when i was walking ard. decided to camp at the youth costume jewellery booth to help sell the earrings. some were quite pretty, but most of the stock had gone by the time i got there, since i kinda came like 4 hrs after the stall actually opened.
well, i managed to help sell off the remainder of the stock in the remaining hr or so. so all that was left after that was an empty table with a sign for advertistment. being the awesome businessman i am (and because nobody wanted to eat the rest of the food), i tried selling the leftover bubble tea, coke, sweets and kachang. business wasnt too bad, esp cos i let the ppl pay whatever price they wanted to for the food. aunty sukuna took a packet of roasted nuts, and so did another mother and son, who were looking all over the place for some peanuts. some father and son (from acs) bought the bubble tea for 5 bucks, while an elderly lady bought the coke for 1 buck. in addition to a friendly donation, we managed to make abt 7 bucks from the sale of leftover food xD
it was pretty amusing to answer all the people that came after we sold off all our stock. of course, posing leftover food as costume jewellery from cambodia isnt exactly the easiest thing to do either. the looks that ppl gave us after they saw what we were putting on display, as well as what our sign said, was freaking hilarious. oh well, i hope they dun think we’re some dysfunctional church now.
i think i just typed a pretty incoherant post. screw that (:
