fish’s bdae celebration thing at kbox was uber fun! finally i had the chance to go to kbox with at least a girl (that can sing, which is REALLY impt), THANK YOU JANICE. sang a huge huge number of songs, most of which shaoyi could not understand at all. cheuk ho knew alot alot, but his pitching was quite bad until he hit falsetto. i must say, he is more dua bui than i thought he was.

before fish came though, we had to shop for a gift. that was pretty hard, esp since he’s the bballer type who’s really sui bian, and he’s beng, but because he’s just so damn casual it was hard to get him anything at all. a basketball and everything sounded fine, but it’s just too predictable. action city, royal sporting house, eight degree, some jap shop, the used cd shop… man we went through so many places. finally we (meaning i, like sean) settled on the animal pencilcase at mini toons! the pink fluffy bunny was cute, and it held special meaning for him, plus it had a black cousin so it made sense since he could give that one to his kimchi. but i thought it was too cheapskate, even for fish, cos the material sucked. in the end, we (meaning i again) got him a cat and a monkey! that literally felt a lot better than the bunnies.

after fish came though, it was a huge mess of jay chou songs and mad crazy lets-go-high-together songs. my favourite was still tuo diao by du de wei (alan to), to which EVERYONE in the room went crazy singing to. even shaoyi, whose mandarin cant even save him from a dreaded ib score of 6 for clbsl, and janice, who is so squeaky clean you can eat off her. of course, fish and i just had to screw up wu ding damn badly because i cant sing the girl’s part properly, until both of us teamed up to sing the guy part and janice took over the girl’s job for me.

getting to renee’s party after the kbox thing was a heck of a lot more trouble though. we had to pretend to be residents of sentosa cove, before hitching a ride on the shuttlebus from the alighting point, get driven to the pickup point, before being sent to sentosa cove, where i proceeded to lead the way to the boat.

the capri isnt very big, probably just slightly larger than 40ft, but the cabins were AWESOME. i wouldnt mind going back to that boat everyday just to live in it. the freaking TVs in the cabin were like 4 times larger than the one i had in my room, and there were 4 of those huge screens in the cabins. the dance floor was rather small though, but it didnt matter much to me since i didnt dance (much) anyway. zach was smart enough to steal the bedroom slippers away from the cabins, which were "awesome" and "really comfortable" according to him. he even brought them home with him, not bad right.

oh well, i just have to say that this isnt my kind of fun. blandon agrees with me, but the party wasnt too bad i guess. chu hui and pei xi were freaking party animals throughout the whole night though. they probably stopped to breathe for abt 2 seconds during the whole party. i think i rmbr seeing either of them sitting down… once. both at different times though.

so thank you fish, thank you renee. tonight i got home at 1am and that’s all thanks to you both and your awesome bdae celebrations. happy bdae to the both of you, may God bless you esp with your time management this hols!
