friendships, and the circle of intimacy.
wargh, i’ve been absolutely and utterly slacking the last 2 days, and man has it felt good. i know i’ll regret this later, i know that i’ll feel guilty, i know that this is preventing me from getting my 40 pts at the end of this year but heck. i’m enjoying myself (:
youth service today was… not bad! didnt intend on going until juanna msged me yesterday to tell me i was on duty -.- so i had to change my plans and cancel my appointments. of course, i also needed new sticks, and i FINALLY got them after 4 years of using the same pair of 5As i bought when i was in sec 2. 4 years is a long long time for anyone to use a pair of sticks ok. this time though, i got a pair of 7A sticks, promark millenium 2. playing with them wasnt too bad, although i still miss my 5A sticks (as smashed up as they might be). the new ones were too fat and heavy, yucks.
well, may’s sermon today on friendships was particularly refreshing. i guess now i am more aware of the types of friends one can have, and how i can really be a much better friend to the ppl ard me. just listening to her has made me more appreciative of the friends i have now. and so wad if i cant find my perfect friend, having a bunch of you jokers is good enough for me (:
